How the estimate works
The low and high totals use the cheapest mix of whole months, weeks and days for your rental length, from these published rates per trailer:
Sources: REPOWR, FreightWaves, lowboy listing and listings
| Trailer | Per day | Per week | Per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dry van | $25 to $55 | n/a | $530 to $610 |
| Reefer | $65 to $120 | n/a | n/a |
| Flatbed | $40 to $75 | n/a | n/a |
| Step deck | No published rate | n/a | n/a |
| Lowboy | $425 to $500 | $1,275 to $1,300 | $2,975 to $3,825 |
| Storage trailer | $15 to $35 | n/a | n/a |
Trailer interchange insurance adds $40 to $120 a month per trailer, prorated by day (REPOWR). Damage waivers, reefer fuel, tolls, delivery and taxes are not included because lessors set them per agreement.
Turn the estimate into a quote
Call two or three branches near you with the same trailer spec and dates. National lessors price by trailer age, spec, term and your credit (XTRA FAQ, Premier FAQ).
Questions people ask
How accurate is the estimate?
It brackets published marketplace and listing rates. Branch quotes depend on trailer age, spec, term and your credit, so use it to judge a quote, not to replace one.
